Kringleville is an annual family holiday festival from Thanksgiving to Christmas that welcomes Santa and Mrs. Claus to Waterville. The Parade of Lights kicks off the season the Friday after Thanksgiving. Floats, created by community members and organizations, file down Main Street filled with lights and festive spirit! Once Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at Castonguay Square the festivities begin. Visit with the Kringles at their holiday home in the square every weekend in December at no charge. Every child that visits Santa will receive a free book, courtesy of the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce. There will be free activities for kids of all ages and photographs by Central Maine Photography available for purchase. For more information on Santa’s schedule, visit Kringleville.org.

A Motown Christmas w/ Pat Colwell and The Soul Sensations @ Somerset Abbey

Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations bring down the house with a powerful mix of Motown/Memphis Soul Music that’s guaranteed to get the party started! Kick off this holiday season with a100% Old School R&B Revue complete with female backup singers, a full horn section, and a show that that will knock your socks off! You will be dancing your jingle bells to Soul Classics from Sam and Dave, the Supremes, Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye, the Temptations, Prince, and Bruno Mars. Ho Ho Ho-lotta Fun! Their numerous CD’s also provide a wealth of original R&B music to their sets.
Tickets can be purchased for $15.00 (pre-sale) at www.somersetabbey.com or in person at Pizzarama on Main St in Madison or for $20 at the door. All ages are welcome, but please consider the age of your child and their ability to sit through a performance.
