7th Annual Central Maine Field Hockey Battle for Breast Cancer Tournament @ Thomas College

To benefit the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center and the people of the Central Maine Area

Eight central Maine field hockey teams—Skowhegan, Mt. Blue, Winslow, Lawrence, Dexter, Messalonskee, Winthrop, and Spruce Mt.—will come together to compete in a field hockey round robin to support the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center at the Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, and raise awareness of early detection, prevention, and support the treatment of breast cancer.

Area players and their booster organizations are soliciting donations for this event. All proceeds will be used to help working people in Central Maine with breast cancer who are not insured or underinsured. We are asking for donations and looking for local businesses/organizations to assist in sponsoring the tournament. All funds raised will be used to run the event and all earnings will be given to the Martha B.
