We’re excited this week to introduce a brand new feature on C What’s On – Maine Made Products. Each week we will take the time to introduce you to Maine entrepreneurs who are adding to the mystique that makes this great state so special. This week we take a close look at Erda Handbags, a Dexter company utilizing the fine art of stitchery to create handbags known the world over.
We also introduce you to Dog Not Gone, a company from Skowhegan and Kingfield that is making a name for itself in products aimed at protecting dogs and humans from ticks and other insects. (Gee, do you think this is timely for all that’s in our news recently?) Finally, while we introduce a nice array of events throughout Maine, we will also introduce you to Anita Shreve and her book, The Stars Are Fire, based on the 1947 fire that burned most of Maine. So, sit back and enjoy this week’s edition of C What’s On.
