Puppets and Lights Art Camp

Young artists will be encouraged to use their imaginations to create a puppet character. The puppets will be created and sewn with foam, felt and fabric. Participants will learn to light it up with “wearable” electronics! Art in the Park, a free program hosted by Common Street Arts, is designed to foster creativity and community among residents and visitors to Waterville. Clay is a wonderfully versatile and expressive medium for young artists! Campers will make art with clay using a variety of wheel, slab, pinch pot, and hand techniques.
